This building at 77 Washington Street was the base of operations for the Boston Daily Evening Voice, one of the most important newspapers in the fight for fair labor in Massachusetts, from December 1964 to October 1867. From here, the Voice shared radical ideals and argued for unions’ support of all working people, including women and Black laborers.
