This is the damage done at 22 Bromfield Street, the location of the Gay Community News, after it burned down in 1982. The fire was suspicious and is thought to be the result of arson.

This photo documents the fire damage done to 22 Bromfield St, the location of the Gay Community News on July 7th, 1982. The fire started in the middle of the night and is commonly thought to be caused by arson. Though the building burned down, the publication continued until 1999.
